It isn't listed. For me it is - H D D C S.

She was very good in that ! I mean after Gangubhai and Black, it is probably Aish who performs best in SLB movies. But it wasn’t as acclaimed as some of these performances. Although the media in India tried to make it look Bride and Brejudice was not as appreciated as it was. Gurinder Chaddha explained it best on KWK. People just cooked up false stories without checking that the film was getting 3/4 star reviews. It was one of the first Indian sort of movies to triple its budget. This was before the 100 crore club even started. I guess it was released in multiple languages. That def helped.

Chaddha later went Aish is def paying the price for upsetting some people here in India.

I haven't seen that film. Gurinder Chadha's only 1 film I have seen "Bend it like Beckham", rest I don't find it interesting.

It happens when we expect certain films or certain performance of stars should get more appreciation, it never happens. As you like Aish's performance in B & B so much, same way I love Salman's role in Khamoshi, for which he isn't appreciated for his work. All praises went to Nana & Manisha.

oh aish was praised for her performance in Bride and Brejudice. It was nothing to the extent that the Bend it like Beckham actresses got praised. But many western critics did say she is a treat as she showcases a great mixture of beauty and talent.

But it was made to look like it didn’t do well! I don’t know why ! 😳

I haven’t seen Khamoshi. I love Manisha Koirala to death, from Bombay, to Dil Se, even some of her bad films like Maan she shines. I should def go back and watch that.
