Well she travelled after wedding to shoot her HW movie far off..so the wedding as well could have happened in South Africa even if she was pregnant then..its not like she didn't travel after wedding at all..i think the wedding irrespective of pregnancy was planned way before..earlier it was dec'21 then in dec'21 itself articles were floating that its postponed to April'22..so i feel that was decided beforehand not because she got pregnant

It’s not about traveling. Destination weddings and big event weddings need to be planned well in advance. So if we go by what Neetu mentioned perhaps there was a working plan for a big event later in the year. A Ranbir Alia wedding has been discussed in the media as early as 2019. The rumors of December of 2021 did seem like the strongest with even some verified accounts “confirming” it until the news of Katrina’s wedding started and suddenly RK and Alia’s wedding talk stopped.

I think if Alia had been open about her pregnancy from the beginning there wouldn’t have been this much speculation about it. But her initial reaction was to hide it. She got married, went on KWK, went to London to shoot, posted pictures online and strategically hid her belly (something she continued to do till very recently when she launched her maternity wear) and was well into her second trimester before she announced it. Her prerogative. But for someone who prides herself on being so progressive it seems weird that she was so anxious and nervous about her pregnancy and date of conception.

She still lives in a conservative country. Kapoors are also conservative.

You can have the most progressive of thoughts and still be unable to act on them.

That said, I don't think Alia's in any way, shape, or form progressive. My feeling is she's looking for stable/respectable family. From a Bhatt POV, Kapoors would certainly seem stable and respectable. It's not simply about getting the prize.

That's my armchair psychoanalysis anyway. 😆

doesn't really matter, rk gave an interview long back that if rishi kapoor hadn't passed in 2020, they would have been married already

I just stated a fact. He is drunk half of the time. I didn’t state anything further. I stated something about RK. Nothing about Aloo. I said I didn’t want to discuss anything further.

Not to mentioned I defended Aloo earlier in my other post on this thread. I reiterated her being pregnant before the wedding shouldn’t be an issue.
