That's right, baby news seemed to be kept on hold for the wedding ceremonies to be over. RanAlia didn't get married while Rishi was alive so all the more reason that conceiving the baby made them marry asap.

And the news was announced bang on after rituals got over. Not sure about marriage abroad because he is the Kapoor khandaan ka Chirag so a lavish Punjabi wedding was expected. A kind of mini Punjab in Mumbai!

It was obvious from the day the pregnancy was announced that it was a shotgun wedding. Some of us even discussed it in here that the rushed nature of the wedding was very shotgun like 😆. KJo also let the cat out of the bag by basically letting it be known that Alia informed him of her pregnancy and wedding plans at the same time.

It doesn’t and shouldn’t matter when she got pregnant, except Alia’s insistence on hiding this fact for as long as she could makes it very weird. And there was her indirect reaction to Vogue claiming that she got pregnant to trap Ranbir.

Didn’t Neetu talk about plans of having a big wedding in South Africa?

Well she travelled after wedding to shoot her HW movie far off..so the wedding as well could have happened in South Africa even if she was pregnant then..its not like she didn't travel after wedding at all..i think the wedding irrespective of pregnancy was planned way before..earlier it was dec'21 then in dec'21 itself articles were floating that its postponed to April'22..so i feel that was decided beforehand not because she got pregnant

It happens. I doubt that was the only reason they decided to get married. Because honestly, in India there is an option to terminate the pregnancy. I don't know what Alia or Ranbir's ethical views are. Whether they believe life starts at the moment of conception or it would be murder. But most would agree scientifically, that up to two weeks it is just a mere cell that is a part of your body. Alia is young she still would have plenty of time to get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy. Did RK believe the time was running out for him? We don't know. I doubt at 40, he was planning on dating and trying out another relationship or two before marrying. They probably did not plan to marry so early and it did seem like a shotgun wedding. But I have reason to believe they were going to get married in another year or two anyway.

Honestly, unplanned pregnancies happen all the time. It could have very well happened during his six-year relationship with Kat or Deepika. But time was coming soon for him to settle down
