Oh my God, what a lame attempt to defend his gutter level over acting.

Not at all, not everyone was OTT and cringe in 90s. There were so many amazing and outstanding natural performances by alot of actors in 90s and even in 80s. Anil Kapoor, Jackie shroff, Sunjay Dutt, Nana patekar, Sunny Deol, Aamir Khan etc in Kaash, Parinda, Naam, Shakti, woh 7 din, jo jeeta wohi sikandar, Krantiveer, Tiranga, 1942 a love story, dil hai ke manta nahi, Raakh, sarfarosh, ghayal, damini, ghatak to name a few.

They over acted in just few films only but even that too not to the extent of such puke worthy hamming unlike the hamming king Srk.

There is not even a single movie in 90s where srk has not done unbearable hamming which is actually 2nd hand embarrassment to watch and an insult to the word acting.

No wonder Aamir Khan, followed by Sunny deol, and Nana Patekar boycotted filmfare awards when it has been unfairly given to the biggest hamster for his gutter level hamming due to his pr, lobbying and giving the jury various favors. It was a big step by these three actors and there was a concrete reason behind it.

Stop making excuses for something that is undefendable.

Amir is still at this age over acting. His performance in LSC is laughable and dont even get me started on Sunny hes not even worth being considered an ā€œactorā€.

SRK was and is the face of mediocrity in BW.

You are being generous here with the word mediocrity.

He is infect the face of puke worthy hamming and criminally over appreciation.

It's nothing that bothers me...there are actors very famous for their overacting as a part of their acting register (like the US actor Jerry Lewis).

To be frank...overacting is an inherent part of Hindi Cinema... but I understand why you bring SRK as an example šŸ˜‰

Keeps contorting his face in a dramatic scene thereby making it comical that's SRK.
