OT: I’ve seen 8 friends who went through hard divorces. All are love marriages so it’s not even like love shields you or whatever. I don’t want to get married.

Getting married is the biggest fear of my life I have huge commitment phobia thanks to the guys I came across in my life 😳 but sometimes I feel whether I will regret it later in future if not get married....I'm utterly in confusion what to do.Even if I will find the right guy I'm not sure whether my commitment phobia disappears. I'm a person who can't let ANYONE in my personal space it's too scary to think your life is gonna be in the charge of someone else. 😳

50% of my commitment phobia is due to the kind of society we are living in. The kind of expectations inlaws and the boy would have from a girl in a marriage, Until the patriarchal mindset of society changes therapy would not help 100%..

Fear and anxiety isliye ki I clearly know I can't be like what they expect from me .. and i don't think it's my fault to not act/dance acc to their tunes, they should also understand they can't control career, choices and lifestyle all the time for their petty reasons
