It's so disheartening to hear this . You are so strong ❤️ . But i am sure now you must be confident enough to interact with colleagues .It happens when you belong to some other country. Life is not so easy. But people should be empathetic enough to treat you well. Childhood memories especially the unpleasant one are very difficult to forget.Originally posted by: FingerFetish
I didn’t have a good experience in Kindergarten. I couldn’t speak English and my mum had decided to chop off my hair, giving me a boys haircut. No one wanted to be my friend because I didn’t have long blonde hair and blue eyes.
The real trauma took place when we were being paired with a six-grader to become ‘buddies’. The older kids got to choose who to be paired with. Guess who got chosen last? Me. I had the biggest lump in my throat and was swallowing back my tears. I may have not understood the language but I knew what rejection was. This memory still chokes me up. 😔
Then maybe she knows the person very well😎. Otherwise you won't get excited after getting such message from a random stranger🤣.but minty is very excited getting this message 😀

attention seeking and nothing else
If someone sent me this, I'd ask them 'how much' do you 'think of me, miss me, need me and love me'.
If it's a lot, clearly withholding that from you is going to be difficult for them. But if it's just enough to go through all that and yet show restraint, then my next question would be 'Do you want me to wait'?
If so you need to tell me that and let me know how long you need. If I like you enough and think you're someone who has taken efforts for me in the past (even if as a friend), I can be confident that you will not shy away from taking the effort for me again at the right time, as a lover.
Besides, if you ask me to wait, how long would you need? Sometimes, I can like you but if you're going to take too long or are unsure when you'll be ready, or aren't taking the effort remove whatever it is that's causing you to withhold, then I might have to say that, 'I love you too, but I cannot wait forever'.

The subtle racism and micro aggressions sometimes hurts more than the in your face taunts. Kids can be brutal. I remember one girl had a more mature body than others at that young age, and the other kids would make fun of her on sports day. Honestly just sad and it’s stuck with me till date. One girl was called all sorts of names just for being tall (the boys were probably just jealous), another made fun of for needing glasses at that young age. I hope kids are a little more kinder these days.😔
sorry to hear that, yes childhood experiences can be traumatic but the way I see it we learn from those and I think it makes one stronger !! And people can sometimes be ignorant and discriminate if we aren’t like them. Well from what I see here you are talented and a person who brings smile to others!!
Thank you ladies for the encouraging messages. 🤗
Being the last one to be chosen left quite a traumatic impact on me while growing up. During our PE (sports) classes, the teacher always appointed two team leaders to select who was going to be in their team. I used to feel my stomach roll with nausea because I was so scared that I'll be chosen last. I felt the nerves right up till high-school. Of course it never happened again but the fear was engraved in my mind. It also didn't help that I shot up like a weed and was the tallest girl in elementary school. I was taller than all the boys in school and as mentioned by Sev.Puri, I also had a more mature body compared to the other girls. I used to pray and cry for my puberty-body-developments to disappear and was extremely self conscious about my body. I got my periods when I was only 10 years old. 😔
Anyway, Kindergarten sucked and so did the kids at school. I had the time of my life at Uni though. 😆
I know what you must have been feeling at that time 😔.Originally posted by: FingerFetish

FF ignorance is a bliss . You just to need ignore kind of people. We encounter such people almost everywhere in our schools, college and work places. In my college and ,i was the tallest girl😃. Boys used to bug me a lot because of my height. I was the basketball captain in college and most of my batchmates especially males used to envy me for this thing. They've even tried to injure me but i am very stubborn kind of in nature. So ,used to give it back to them in the same way😳. Once during my boxing tournament , i was severely injured by my opponent(Biggest rival ). But then I never gave up. And made him lose one of the most important biggest match of his life which would have turned up as the life changing event for career😆😎.
I believe in tit for tat theory. Gave him the taste of his own medicine🤣😆. So just chill. Either ignore them or teach them a lesson🤗 .I hope it would help to bring smile on your face and will cheer up your mood😃.
