He didn't make an escape, he didn't hurt people in Mouni's gang and they were puny humans, what was he trying to do there?

I honestly did like the film. Everyone acted wonderfully! VFX was CLASS. I'm a Ranbir fan😆 so I'm gonna say, he was the highlight, no doubt others did a great job too!

I was recently seeing Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and was watching Mauni Roy act. I think she has come a long way from TV to Films. Kudos to her! That cute little boy, one of the new recruits of Brahmansh stole our hearts!🤗

However, the writing was amateurish, and Alia's way of speaking felt very unnatural (IDK why.. she's usually a good speaker as she is an actor). The film was somewhat predictable too, post-interval.

But overall, if we overlook the downsides, I think it was a good film!

I have a Q.

Why did no one from Brahmansh ever try to track or find Vanarastra and Nandiastra? I mean, honestly! no one bothered!

Also, Did the scriptwriters not find an original line for 'Light' that they had to go for a Hindi translation of Dumbledore's dialogue??🤣

"Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light".

Take one of the Fanfiction writers from IndiaForums and they would do a better job writing the script!

The fire which burnt Amrutha was red, Shiva's fire has a pinkish hue. Shiva did say that he was afraid of using his powers or exploring his relationship with fire because he might have killed his mother

They can do this but I like Dev more than Shiva already, I don't want Dev to die or be defeated, he can get Brahmastra, just kill these brats who decided to hug each other instead of picking up that piece of Brahmastra 🤪

One thing I realised after thinking about the film that Ayan has tried his best to keep the Shiv Parvati reference intact throughout with Shiv Isha.

Parvati ji was a princess, Isha was super rich too.

Mahadev has minimalist approach in life and still his heart and abode is open for everyone....jinka koi nahi unke Mahadev.... Shiva is poor but still provides for the orphan children and lives a good life.

Mata Parvati was always inspired from his way of living and his personality ..... Isha mentions how despite facing so many problems he is still doing good.

Mata Parvati not panicking seeing all the Shamshan , bhoot pret and all other things but gets angry when he thinks she will not be able to become part of all this .......... Isha doesn't panick seeing fire and all but gets angry regarding why she is not part of plan😆

Mahadev third eye emits fire.....Shiva hands emits fire😆

Mahadev is Ajanma (without parents) Shiva is Orphan.

Mahadev is incomplete without Mata Parvati despite having all the powers from the start... (Shakti ke bina Shiv Shav hai) She is his strength........... Shiv has powers but Isha is the button of him and his guiding light.

The Mother Nature aspect of Parvitiji .......... Isha delibrately ran with the Brahamastra to keep the kid away from the mess, knowing very well that kid has powers.

Isha also mixed very well with the kids similar to how Parvitiji gells instantly with Nandi and gang, bhoot pret and all to the extent that Mahadev himself feels out of place.

I always thought Isha will be a part of Brahmansh and she will act as a bridge between Shiva and Brahmansh but they actually stick to the the refernce of God Mahadev taking Mata Parvati in his way of life like Princess Parvati to Godess Parvati rather than the her taking him to her way of life.

Samundra Manthan :- Mahadev drank the poison with Mata Parvati as his support system........ Shiva stand against Brahamastra with Isha being his support system.

Not a review (don't like to write such things) but some thoughts...and THANKS A LOT for this thread here (even learn something)!

Karan greenlighted Ayan’s idea 8years ago…Karan’s fault was to announce it far too early (but I give him that he could not forsee Covid)…in any way, shooting started in the beginning of 2018 – with a break of more than a year and many retakes (a kind of “many cooks…” – even Rajamouli’s father had something to say…and was followed).
Ranbir, I don’t know…he may have got really bored to act in front of a green wall…or he was stoned sometimes…
Alia, I suppose that her role was deliberately written like that …she may be a tool of the dark forces and has – at least initially – to pretend to love him…the goal: to get the broken pieces of the Brahmastra.
Dialogues: I also think that they are made (too much) simplistic - to reach an audience as large as possible.
Cliffhanger: not only one but many…almost no story-part has a closure and there is a perceptible lack of information.
VFX: Really made to make this movie an event to watch in a theatre…done by DNEG (4 oscars, based in UK and Kanada) with its ReDefine wing in Mumbai and London (no wonder that the coasts went through the roof). Good (but a bit exhausting, imo).
Mouni Roy: fitting the character to a “T”…will not forgive Karan that he didn’t involve her into the promotions (he largely prefered to profit from the fact that Alia got pregnant and then married… Ranbir not eager to do so, Alia did the best possible).
Amitji: I guess he experienced a lot he didn’tlike…
Karan: Gosh, how much he has changed…and n o t to the better (imo).

Oh, “forgot” ShahRukh!!! Highlight at the beginning! Just a “wow”-cameo…and – maybe? – he hasn’t died… (wonder if Ayan loves Swades...)

Could be as he was the Assistant Director of Swades.
