Why Bachchan avoiding Brahmastra promotions?

He is posting about other films on his social media accounts. He has not mentioned Brahmastra at all and is not at any promotional event nor posts about it online.

Cast is also hardly talking of him.

Has Bachchan had fallout with the team of film? I see no mention of it on KBC either.

When teaser first released his name came after Ranbir and Alia but before Nagarjuna and Mouni. Usually with stars of his stature their names either go first or last in the order of credits. The teaser’s credits was changed and it was rereleased with his name first and Nagarjuna last. I don’t know if this is what’s really upset him or if something else is going on as well. But he’s pretty much pretending Brahmstra doesn’t exist. Does seem odd. If I’m not mistaken the last thing he did was post that teaser of Kesariya as a congratulatory message for Aloobir’s wedding.

It’s their loss. KBC would have been great for promotion of their love story sorry mera matlab the movie. Questions like “How old was Alia when she fell in love with Shiva” would have revealed such important details about the fantasy element of the movie.

4 years ago (in October), Karan posted an announcement on his Twitter account (1st post in the Brahmastra Update thread) with this special mention of AB:

"We are honored to have Mr. Amitabh Bachchan lead our cast along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt"

I guess, for a man like Amitji they indeed showed disrespect towards him and the position Karan gave him at this announcement.

In addition, I suppose, he was/is not happy with many other things that happened around this movie throughout the four years that followed the announcement....and he saw a lot of what was happening during the shootings that may not be "good" memories.
