I do agree. Promotions seem to be all about Ranbir and Alia and their relationship the way Guru tried to capitalise on relation between Abhi and Ash.

Others in cast seem to be talking about Ranbir and Alia too. More than the film.

I politely disagree

No one has the right its a business not some family function. I feel the leads should come first but either way they changed it back to AB first so him now behaving like he is not a part seems very unprofessional and entitled. He has bataoed gyaan in the past of work being bhagwaan now he is shying away from his commitments not that others in Showbiz are doodh ka dhula but diplomacy is key throwing attitude is quite meh for someone as old as him

I don't blame AB for wanting more respect. His name gives a lot of gravitas to a project so the way they ignored him was pretty cheap, IMO.

Anyway, I feel everyone should stay away from a Dharma movie that stars Aloo in the lead. Everyone will be sacrificed for her and now her husband too. It's just not worth it.

Won't the family dynamics between Kapoors and Bacchans be even weirder. Isn't Agastya pretty close to Ranbir, Riddhima..

Last time he pissed off Rishi-Neetu, he then bent over backwards and offered Ranbir a movie.

He'll probably offer Agastya something as compensation.

It is not about a family or entitlement but stature earned by a star over several decades.

Even Madhuri had name first in credits ahead of Aamir in Dil as she was senior and bigger star. If she could get her due at that age then why not Amitabh?

Amitabh's name and presence brings lot of attention ans also older audience and increases catchment of audience for a film. He still has more ads than Ranbir on TV. He is a visible brand and his presence also brings better deal for viewership on TV also even if film flops at BO.

It is basic courtesy to give a legend their due as per their brand value even if they are not main leads.

Amitabh demands his due because his name still makes millions for the business (ask Sony whose best rated show is still KBC). He does not demand his due merely for his age.

To sideline him or even Nagarjuna type seniors just to focus on Ranbir and Alia is cheap.

Though I do agree that he should have been more professional and not disowned the film. Being part of the film, he should have posted about it online atleast. I am sort of glad that he did not attend promotional event because it was all about Alia and Ranbir or their unborn child and hardly much was discussed about film. I wondered why were Nagarjuna, Rajamouli, NTR Jr invited at all.

I wonder why the hell does Karan pamper and favour Alia way too much? His obsession with Alia is soon gonna cross his obsession with SRK, Kajol and Rani (till 2000s).

Mahesh used to bash K Jo and his brand of cinema. I am surprised K Jo favoured his daughter soooo much from day one.
