If cast was not locked then why on earth did they announce the movie and that too with Kartik? Trying to get finances?

The fact that makers came running to refute this rumour😆just shows scared they were that the hype for this movie will come down if a jaded actress' name is attached to a project which is being touted as one of the biggest announcements of the year. KA deserves way better, I hope Tripti or Shraddha or Sanya get cast if they are not going for a debutant or Rashmika Mandanna (who is also rumoured but not refuted😆) .

Otherwise I was going to say yes she’s pretty but her and KSG Onscreen were an iconic pairing. Glad I read that you were talking on Kartik not KSG lol
