Horribly one note, Alia is a total misfit here. Her disconnect with the surroundings could not be more obvious, in every frame it seemed as if she just couldn't connect with anything and her acting appeared artificial in every frame. She also has a very weak role despite a good screen time. She is mostly standing clueless or shouting shiva shiva.

Thank god someone has finally said what I have been saying. Her whole life she created characters that suited her strengths as she hid her weaknesses (there are many). The girl CANT DO IT ALL. She’s a weak actor, has weak screen presence and looks funny when she’s supposed to be sexy

No one is going to make the second part. Ya maybe ayan will push for it but no one will finance it and no one is going to agree to act in it

I also think so

Even viewers coming with good review are not saying we are waiting for part 2,

For sequel to happen the first should have superb craze like baahubali or kgf where ppl were coming out of the theater with crazy anticipation

On top this movie is not even shot, all names from ranveer to deepika are tossed around, means more money, time, who knows what will happen by then seems risky
Another 5-7 yrs for 3 parts means ranbir will close to 50

@bold Where did you see that? From the audience reviews I watched, they were saying one good thing about the film is that it ends on such a note that people will be curious for next part. Many said that they want to see the next part

Also tbh Bahubali 1 didn't have crazy buzz when it released. It wasn't a superb grosser like Bahubali2. The hype over Katappa ne bahubali ko kyu mara happened subsequently when the makers marketed the film well on TV and other platforms. Hence by the time part 2 released enough curiosity had been generated in the minds of people. Bahubali2 was also far better than part 1 hence no surprise that it become a monstrous grosser at the BO.

Lets give Brahmastra series a chance before writing it off like that..

I watched the movie, it is ok but has lots of fllaws and the love story was irritating but I am not particularly confident of subsequent parts being higher level given some basic flaws in makingPpl I saw it with had similar views

I have given it a chance and my judgement is based on what I have seen
I saw some videos of public response and most saying it is good were not talking of next part

Whereas for kgf I saw it happening

Bb1 came out of nowhere, it was a dubbed movie when there was not much precedent with unknown names, we can’t compare to brahmastra which has all big names of Hindi films and so much hype

I agree for the bb 2 marketing of Katappa part was done great but as you said it sustained because of a great product

For me brahmastra is nowhere close to bb1 in making so the gap is big

Also kgf and bb were already shot whereas here it is not so obviously it is a much bigger task

Good for them if they make it but I am not spending to see the next parts unless they completely change the angle, cast etc which to me seems too big an ask
Time will tell, my saying or not saying will not stop it
