What arrogance did he show? All he said was there are 200 to 300 people working on a film. Films provide lots of employment.

IMO, one way to defeat the boycott bots would be for every actor, director from every Indian film sector to insult them.

Right now, the boycotters are using Bollywood's lack of scripts to hide behind since Hindi audience is shifting to other movies as a result. If all Indian cinema were to stand together against the bots, who are they going to boycott?😆 The audience will watch the better movies and make them hits as they always have.

On related note, Brahmastra must have boycotters in a tizzy.😆 If it becomes a hit, yay! for Indian culture. If it flops, they successfully boycotted KJo, RK, Alia, and nepotism! Win win!

All these so called boycotts look like film's PR to me.

Wow It seems he is a brutally honest guy, don't give a f*ck about anything when he thinks he is supporting something right.He doesn't support boycott against LSC,he expressed it, he didn't think about consequences. He is not faking or pretending himself in a way which attract the audience for Liger. It seems he doesn't give a f*ck if movie tanks because of this. It shows his movies in future may not do well because of these kind of statements but the guy has a character, he will go a long way in real life 👍🏼 if not movie life.

This seems intentional. Nobody even cares about this movie that much.

I hope Amir Khan will show a middle finger to these boycotters, no need to beg or apologize to people to watch his movies. My advice to Amir khan would be to make movies with low budget and people who want to watch his movies will watch. In that way no big losses at box office.

Also if Amir khan thinks he did something wrong, asking apology just before the day of movie release was foolish because everyone thinks he is apologizing to make people watch his movie😆.He should have just ignored them, Giving attention to these boycotters will make boycottment movement more strong😆.. Either thrash them like VD or ignore them, never beg them that too just before the movie release😆..

Irrespective of anyone cares about the movie or not ....it doesn't matter to us or any audience. It does matter to the team. The movie team put high budget and their movie becoming success at box office is important to them. No one intentionally can ruin their own box office. It is just being honest about what they (VD here ) don't support.

Really arrogant. I haven't seen any of his movies, so he can't say with any confidence that people who won't watch his movies in theatres will watch on T.V. I don't know on the basis of what data are people saying that boycott gang people were never part of actual theatre audience. Of course, they aren't now. But they could have been.

If the boycott gang are trolls, I don't know what to call the 'stars' who don't fail to mention them before every movie release. Boycotting any movie for any reason is the right of people & if Vijay feels the need to mock that rather than address it sensibly or ignore it, it speaks more about him than anyone else. Btw there were other 'stars' who said something similar on the lines of watch my movie if you want to otherwise don't, requesting people for days to watch their movie. Hope Vijay can stand his ground for his next movie if Liger fails at the box office.

What I meant is...there's no real boycott happening for this movie. At least in haven't seen it. This just looks like PR promotional technique.
