Idk why actors/media these days are giving so much importance to bycotters? Its just a small section of people. By speaking about them these people are spreading the bycott news.

And bycotters seem to pick films which look like they will fail anyway 😆 I don't have any hopes from the trailer. It just looked very weird to me.

Decent people? JK Rowling made some offensive tweets about LGBT+ community and some people refused to support her books (chiefly Harry Potter) because they didn't want to put their money in the hands of a person who could influence the world like that. Decent people also take offense when their beliefs are mocked for no valid reason.

Freedom of speech still rules, and even foolish trolls are allowed to speak. Yet is it ethical? No. Moral? No. Simply not illegal.

So the fact Devarakonda is speaking up for his fraternity says quite a lot about the dude. The fact he's being taunted about keeping the same stance if Liger fails, ie financial threat to conform or else, speaks volumes about the one issuing the taunt.

Yes, it speaks that the one issuing the taunt is fed up of seeing hypocrites who talk big when they career and/ or money is not on the line. It also tells that the taunt issuer would love to see a star who can stand true to his principles and stand by his fraternity come what may.

I don't know the guy even as a celeb. The movie doesn't look like my kind. But you bet I'm gonna watch in theater. Hope to God it becomes a roaring success.

Comparing the boycotters to the Quit India movement?

Quit India movement was about getting a foreign oppressor to get out. Boycott movements are BY the oppressor wanting to silence opposing opinions. There is a huge difference.

Motive matters.

Take all the offense you want. Speak your stance as loudly as you want. TRYING TO SILENCE someone for having an opinion is indecent, unethical, immoral. No amount of bristling is going to change the fact the boycotters who spread their venom are merely pathetic little bullies.

With re: JKR. The lady also got rape and death threats from the woke boycott gang. Glad to see the parallels to the right wing boycotters openly stated.

Yeah, I'm going to watch it for emotional reasons. At least it's a positive emotion like supporting someone for standing up to bullying and not toxic like the boycott gang's.

No one is silencing anyone. LSC and RB both got released as did 2:12. As will Liger. Yeah, but making out like the entire boycott gang has no reason for their boycotting can also be construed as an attempt to try to silence them. RB boycotters gave clear reasons of KD tweets, LSC boycotters gave a clear reason which a Sardaarji articulated in a video. Agree or disagree with their views, they aren't pathetic little bullies but people voicing their discontent.

Another nonsense tweet I saw was abt a picture in Vijay’s house where his mom was getting pooja done and ananya and Vijay were sitting with hands folded in a namaste and poojaris standing and blessing them

Apparently acc to bots they were sitting shamelessly when the poojaris were standing and it’s an insult to Hindus 😒

Several Hindus from the south jumped in to clarify that the process requires them to be sitting to be receiving blessings from poojaris who are standing up and putting their hand above them …(ashirwad)

Like they don’t know jack squat abt anything but want to boycott based on their ideas of religion 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
