I once worked in academic medicine. The chief of the dept was not the one with most patients, ie most revenue. The chief was the one who brought in most grants. He was also the one with the most research, ie scientific reputation.

RKR is the one who brings in grants and the reputation.

Any box office losses will be written off in the tax sheets.

Ok so he’s hired to get the movie awards or take it to Cannes ? Or let’s take this to it’s furthest logical conclusion. He’s hired to take the films to the Oscar’s. Well He hasn’t done that w every single movie either. So some of the films are not bringing art or money. Yet here he is. An again that’s fine.

But most of them do. No one has a 100% track record. In what he's promising, ie art, he has a very good record.

Also BTW Made in China, Shimla Mirchi, Shaadi mein Zaroor aana, Roohi , Judgemental and many of his recent awful movies were certainly NOT art. I don’t blame Rajkumar a bit cos the guy has to pay his bill.
