I find saris also too revealing as many times women (however traditional they seem to be) reveal their stomach area and wear short blouses. They are the same ones complaining about girls wearing short pants and skirts. Even if a costume is Indian, it doesn't mean it's an absolutely decent outfit.

I feel times have changed where these actresses like to wear those outfits even if not asked. It's like their daily wear. It's some who get really uncomfortable and may be it's more with the media just desperate for a chance to get them clicked when any wardrobe malfunction happens. Media is absolutely disgusting and they instantly post videos and circle areas too for few bucks.

It's the result of high fashion and stylists entering the Bollywood industry, especially within the last decade or so.

As long as the actors and actresses are comfortable, no big deal. For some of the more risque pieces, their teams should have a boatload of fashion tape on hand to prevent any faux-pas

I think this is more the case for the newer generation of Tara, Disha and everyone barring Sara maybe.

Anushka, Shraddha and Katrina still dress quite modestly overall. Katrina is often seen wearing Indian clothes for promotional events. Anushka other than Ricky Bahl early on has been ok. And I agree, dressing modestly makes you stand out more than all the trashy awkward stuff does nowadays. Sad times to be fair.
