I thought the topic was about the IF. If we discount this, then I don’t know who was being hard on him either. Because you don’t even have to be smart to actually see the passive aggressive manner in which he is being guarded from all criticism.

Used to be a Ranbir fan but can’t stand him now with all the offscreen antics plus his acting is getting stale. There was a time he surprised me with every movie but not anymore. Also not a fan of his ghost PR

If one is not at social media, how on earth one can know srk or any xyz got trolling or not

as people dont discuss such things in length personally unlike over a keyboard

trolling or no trolling, srk is a flop since a decade yet getting so many plum projects after disasters , that one anyone can know without being on IF

Any star who delivers flops and duds like Ranbir has been doing receives similar, rather worse, treatment here, the only difference is that you notice it more when it's one of your favourites.

And double LMAO for comparing SRK and Ranbir. Firstly, SRK had already ESTABLISHED himself before his rough phase began. Ranbir has never truly managed to do that, yet, his PR/biwi/sasur are hell bent on portraying him as some sort of superstar. Secondly, people were harder than hard on SRK during Zero debacle..you just failed to notice it.

SRK gave a DECADE, yes TEN YEARS of constant releases and MAINLYH flops and some huge disasters, yet getting biggest projects with most succcessful directors...yet churning flops with imtiaz ali and anand l rai.....next raju hirani etc...what else a ROYAL treatment he will need

Ranbir has not through a DECADE of flops yet with a release or more each year

I doubt his BIWI or adopted SASUR or REAL SASUR can have that much power to change people's minds, if so he would not have been bashed that much

You must be joking. Ranbir has been BY FAR the most coddled and supported star kid since he was launched. He literally had everything on a golden platter, barely had any competition when he started (Imran was too weak), worked with top directors from day 1, had every single star brand him as the next superstar so didn’t have to promote himself or bother interacting with the public on social platforms. And despite this exceptional level of support he still managed to fail consistently, hasn’t explored the breadth of his acting abilities, and is still called a fine actor/superstar and charging 70 crore per movie (e.g. Ranveer charges 45-50). He also barely get any criticism from the media when he flops compared to his contemporaries. Alia received the same level of privilege but the main difference is that she actually delivers consistently at the BO and charges a 1/3 of his fee! His biggest career regret must have been to decline BBB…everyone thought Ranveer would fail or disappear.

I'm so confused. Who's giving Ranbir a hard time? His box office numbers were kept on the down low all weekend long, so there was no room to fully criticize him. Dude is coasting even when he flops😆
