Mismatched couples in Dil Hai Tumhara.

Y'all must remember this movie which released in 2002?

I always felt the couples were mismatched in this film. They made Preity and Arjun lead couples and Mahima and Jimmy as one sided lovers. But Preity had much better chemistry with Jimmy. Same with Arjun and Mahima compared to the lead couple.

I was specifically rooting for Preity to end up with Jimmy when first time watching the film. Especially because Jimmy's character was such a lovable guy. Also this song gets the major blame for me thinking this way.

They made Preity-Jimmy and Arjun-Mahima look like couples in this video. I'm not sure but I suppose I must've watched this song before watching the movie which could be the reason for my bias.😆

This was my fav movie back in childhood. And No Shalu/Dev had great chemistry compared to Shalu and Samir. They had more of bffs vibe to them. It was Mahima’s character which didn’t had chemistry with both the guys.

Did Rekha play their mother? If yes, all I remember is, she didn't look like a mother of such big girls 😆

Preity and Jimmy were adorbs in this but Preity and Arjun were good too. Rest all were misfits, especially Mahima chowdary was super annoying, so was Rekha!

But yes, Jimmy loved her so much, and Jimmy is such a good actor, he played that character so convincingly! I felt sorry for him!

Arjun & Mahima looked great together more than any thing in the film.
