Watched it today and I didn't like Kartik's character calling the kid haathi, mota, body shaming, and all. Personally, I do not mind such jokes but he was a kid and kids are gonna watch it and I can see more kids calling fat kids such names....

Who else found it bad or weird?

I haven't seen the movie....but is Kartik's character a mean and disgusting person....if so then maybe it is....supposed to abuse the kid......like in KANK...SRK's character verbally abuses his own kid and other kids...because that is his character was...Dev was a frustrated, irritable, annoying and disgusting man....so depends how his character was developed in BB2...

In real life I agree no kid needs to be called those names....

I did not like that scene of Ruhaan very inconsiderate of him

The namecalling was unnecessary

No karthik's character is not meant to be shown as abusive, infact he's shown as lovable and the kid is fat shamed for comic relief. Typical regressive humor

I guess I took the movie for what it is which was silly and not serious so I didn’t find it to be abusive. I mean it’s a Anees movie after all.

I mean the kid chased him with a stick and was constantly trying to show him as a liar - which Katrik was.

Body shaming is not hilarious....it should not be used for comical relief.....unless the character is like Dev Sharan....because then it makes sense if the character is a douchebag.....We are far moved way from the TunTun era....a decade back rape jokes were also hilarious...not any more...people have become conscious now..we are in 2022.

it was pathetic, but the movie itself was mediocre nowhere near the part 1 which of course had a great script from the original

which makes me think that this karthik aryan has some star power and pull, it will interesting to see how he will progress if he gets some good directors

anyway I am happy to see somebody like tabu still hitting it with just sheer talent and no gimmicks whatsoever, that is really empowering, also shows take an actor who fits the role with raw talent and they will take it to another level

There are a lot of other more harmful things that are happening. I don’t see anyone speaking up about that. Everyone is wayyy to sensitive these days. Comedy is being able to make jokes about anything
