You cited the article from the tabloid without a caveat.

You stated it was unclear Aryan was in possession of, which is untrue.

I wouldn't be surprised if the responsible for "leaking" internal information to the media is on much higher position then the leading officer of the SIT. It may be coming from the same place the investigation into Mr. Wankhede's lifestyle and handling of Aryan's arrest and incrimination was - allegedly - iniciated...

It's time to continue in maligning a certain actor's reputation (through his son and otherwise) as the 1st of his three movies coming next year is bound to be in theatres in seven months...

How is the charge sheet filed by NCB "a tabloid" ? Disregard mid-day. Fine. But the same charge sheet info has been reported by the likes of HindustanTimes, Deccan Chronicle and The Hindu. Are they tabloids as well? The charge sheet is inaccurate and the digital evidence such as WhatsApp chats with Ananya and the likes doesn't count. Aight, I'm ready to believe this if you point me in the direction of your source. If you're going to squash the charge sheet, at least come up with a valid reason/source why other than "ye toh tabloid hein hehe" because other major newspapers have reported the same.

Are you part of the investigation?

Did Aryan and SRK communicate with you directly?

Are you in contact with someone at NCB who's feeding you internal info?

Where is the charge sheet you mentioned? You're not quoting the charge sheet. You're quoting the tabloid which is quoting a supposed official who quotes the supposed charge sheet. Even the supposed serious media hasn't provided a copy of the charge sheet which they would have to if they were legit citing from it. Or at least state emphatically they have seen it and verified it as true. Basic journalistic ethics.

NCB's official document and their words in court say the complete opposite of what you claim. No drugs; no admission. These are the only truths available to the public about the case.

ETA. None of this is to say Aryan didn't smoke pot in California. Guess what? Indian government can't do anything about it. Just like they can't do anything about Sundar Pichai if he got himself a bleeding-raw steak and gorged on it. (*If* meaning hyperbole/speculation. Man might be vegan for all I know).

And for the cluck-clucking peeps who hope Aryan learns his lesson. Lemme see you say the same to the government which still runs bhang stores. Get bhang banned, I dare y'all. 😆 I mean, since you seem to think it's immoral.

Otherwise, you have no legal argument or moral argument even if Aryan did use pot in California. And NCB themselves admitted in court there was no evidence of drug use or possession in India. That document, unlike the tabloid items, was officially released by the agency. 😊

DetachednNumb, (nomen est omen??? just kidding!), only because a certain "news" is published the same way in many papers doesn't make it accurate.

The charge sheet is a legal paper and can only validated by a legal procedure through court, judges, advocates...no newspaper is a legal validation and what five write in the same vein is five times to question, imo, because for the case it is of NO importance what Aryan did in L.A. !

So now major leading print media publishers like The Hindu, HindustanTimes are also tabloid? Thanks for the laugh. I'm sure you are aware that print media such as The Hindu would not bullshit their way through a news story because they run the chances of getting sued. They must have a source to corroborate and validate their news. The only problem I'm running into is you're advocating posters to believe YOU over substantiated news articles because HearMeRoar on an anonymous forum knows better and has valid sources pertaining to the case. Again, before you squash tabloids (in your own language) point me towards one logic of reason that should convince anyone reading this believe you.

As such, during investigation a charge sheet is not made public because it would impede the prosecution and ongoing investigation. Now, if you so wish, you could file an RTI for revealing the charge sheet because it is a public document by all means and NCB's investigation has been done as well.

So by all means file an RTI and get your info.
