Need to watch Jana gana man know as one of my Tamil workmates has also recommended it.

Loved the Great Indian kitchen - such an intelligent ,subtle satirical movie.

Thank you much for the recommendations! Can't wait to watch. I feel like I'll need to be buying a lot of subscriptions lol

@hasini - The unexpected twists were so delightful! First twist, I was shocked but chalo okay, good twist. Then next twist, I'm like OMG what??? Calm down for that, and then another one. I'm all but dead and then the last one comes....mind blown lol. And he was lead? I was thinking parallel lead? The two were so good. I loved him in the court scenes, how he made me feel uncomfortable.

@bollyqueen - They do! Soooo good. I can't stop raving lol. I love my Korean thrillers, and this was as good.

Thank you for the recommendation.

I watched it last night and kudos to the makers and actors for their impactful performance. I don't follow his movie graph, but whatever I saw I liked them all.

Prithviraj is one actor who chooses his scripts wisely. The first movie of Prithviraj I saw was a Hindi movie Aurangzeb.

I liked his no nonsense performance in that movie. Then I saw Ravan where he was the police officer and Vikram was Raavan. I saw Coldcase.

I will definitely watch some more of his movies in my next free time.

Like many of you, I can't wait to watch part 2 of Jana Gana Mana.

Cheers..

Try Mumbai Police. No mainstream BW actor will dare to play that role

I have recently ventured out to South Indian movies too. I started Malayalam movies first and loved them and now Tamil movies too. I enjoyed Love, Joji, Kuruthi (all Malayalam movies). I also really enjoyed Doctor - Tamil movie - it has dark humour. The Great Indian Kitchen was amazing!

I am going to also watch the movies recommended in this thread!

Sapthamashree Thaskaraha (Seven good thieves) is a good heist with a desi twist about 7 thieves who meet in Prison. (SunNxt) Dumb thieves, smart thieves...they come in all shades and have their own stories to tell. But wait until the final reel to see who's manipulating whom. Prithviraj Sukumaran is in fine form here and gives Daniel Ocean vibes.

Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum is no whodunnit. We all saw the theft. The drama in the police station, the cheeky stubborn thief (Fahad) and the furious woman (Nimisha from the Great Indian Kitchen) who wants her chain back all make it special.(Hotstar, Prime)
