He’s obsessed with both his kids. (Nothing wrong in that and yeah a very’desi’ thing like every one else said)

Infact at one point he used to so continuously praise/ fawn over Shweta and her achievements and post her throwbacks so often that I started doubting he was partial towards her and kind of ignorant towards Abhishek. 😆
I used to feel bad for him.

This post yesterday though made me cringe, Abhishek a grown ass man and he’s showing him off like a doodh peeta toddler.

It's natural to be obsessed with family.

I think it's kinda cute

and yes, perfectly normal!!!

The whole family is always trying really hard to boost Abhi jr ego, be it his mom, sister, wife or father. Probably because he is the least successful in the family, I wouldn’t be surprised it Aaradhya starts doing it too.

and no it’s not normal, not when he is almost 50 years old and a father to almost a teenager. Have you seen Rakesh roshan or Rishi kapoor screaming how great their sons are, it’s because they don’t have to. Everyone already knows that.

Frankly, one person I feel really bad In this whole patriarchal family is Aishwarya. She is truly the one who is taking Bachchan name forward. Otherwise, after Amitabh, bachchans wouldn’t have had same power or popularity. If they want to fawn on someone, it should be her but too bad she took a step back so that she doesn’t overshadow her husband.

It’s pretty much understood that Shweta is AB’s favorite and Abhishek is Jaya’s. The two siblings even joked about it on KWK.

I also wonder if Big B’s praise of his kids comes from a protective parent place. Abhishek has been mocked and criticized a lot for his movie failures and Shweta’s marriage broke and was going through a separation. Both kids have gone through some rough patches like we all do, and their dad is showing extra love like all dads do. The fact that we are now discussing this father’s love and praise for his son probably further cements his resolve to praise him even more 😆

Still not as embarrassing as Aishwarya trying to do something to hype ABJr up.

Those tweets are so sweet and wholesome wtf 🥺 Honestly found it so cute. I don’t recall him ever hyping Abhishek like this, I love seeing it though.

It stems from the fact that both Abhishek and Shweta have not had the success of their parents.

To be Amitabh Bachchan (1the country's biggest superstar ever )son in the same field and not be successful can be extremely depressing and frustrating, plus married to a very successful star too
