I agree and got that. The director actually makes few films and is known for his research but as you said he just shifts his statements based on public reaction which is so shallow.

He initally thought people will say wow you worked for so few days and gave such a great film, then he saw the reaction and shifted tracks.

worse was in an interview he made the director state that though akshay worked for 40 days he works for long hrs and others work for just 2-3 hrs for long yrs, As though he has personally seen that and quality output requires long hours and anyway who pays so much and works for 2-3 hrs.

He just doesn't seem to get it that this generation of movie goers have more exposure, access and understanding and you can't get away talking crap.

I think the era of these older actors is over, seeing how karthik aryan scored a hit.

ranbir and ranveer will survive as they are younger but those 50+ are out including the khans.

i think sanjay dutt was smart, better ajay devgan and akshay also shift to solid supporting roles.

audience is younger and they want fresh faces

For all his smartness he missed to notice one thing. Public's anger towards constant mocking by his wife..specially for Kashmir files. People may forget criticism but not mockery.

one reviewer on yt said our of whole scene only 3 scenes was good 🤣 and one pic showed he was tired but the rope was so lose it became a memes🤪

the villain looked crap 😳 the casting seem to be off in this movie and in some scenes and song the heroine looked like a skeleton while in other scenes she looked ok.

I hope the first day collection is better than Gangubai..nahi toh...bahut beizaati hogi 😃
