Yeah I used to watch Motu Patlu. That show was funny. By the standards of Indian cartoons it was big upgrade from Chhota Bheem.

I grew up reading Billu comics actually.😆 They were moderately famous in my city/area😆

Although they were ordinary, "fun" comics. There wasn't any recurring villain or theme, as far as I remember.

But they had several crossovers with Chacha Chaudhary comics.👍🏼

If done right, Billu could make an interesting rom-com or a slice of life Bollywood film.

My dream cast would be to have Ayushman and Taapsee play Billu and Pinky, and a guest appearance from Pankaj Tripathi as Chacha Chaudhary lol.

Doga. Suraj- the hottest hunk in Raj Comics series

Bhediya- full version is so hot! not the split one into Kobi and Manav Bheriya

Bhokal- Tureen and Bhokal love story, their separation. Reading "Saat Savaal" made me cry that time

Dhruv-Nagraj as a duo. Damn! who will play Visarpi. my first female crush. Ekta's Naagin was sufficient to ruin this genre for me.

Tiranga-Parmanu as a duo

Shakti, Natasha, Chandika (Shweta), Monika, Visarpi- the leading ladies.

Gamraj would make amazing comedy movies- unless Bollywood turns Hinduphobic once again.

SuperIndian would be a nice touch compared to regular superhero genre.

When the shopkeeper didn't had any new or unread comics left, I started with Pinki and Billu.

Those comics were just too good.

Vidyut and John are best options to play Doga in a Bollywood movie.

I must have been living in a parallel universe. No clue there were so many Indian super heroes around me while I was noshing on foreign comics. With Inspector Garud, Bahadur the reformed daku and Secret Agent Vikram being the rare exceptions.

I might search my cupboard for the Nagraj comics (including the multistarrer ones) I have. It's been 5-6 years since I read one. The Indians comics industry is dead. Sigh!
