Bollywood should open their eyes and look for decent stories and good storytelling. KJo writing ADHM in 9 minutes (as he claimed) ain't gonna work anymore. They have to deliver solid entertainment in terms of either pure fun or actual plots.

On an aside, Nawaz is wrong. Pandemic did change the audience. Now they demand their money's worth.

Jayesh Bhai.....has an opening of 3 crores.😲...are you serious??? Has the movie released already??😕

Tiger is a one trick monkey. Repetitive stunts and remakes. Ain't nothing to look at.

People are already writing off Ranveer??.......yahi haal hai logon ka ....doh movies flop hui toh the actor is written off..😆.....Ranveer is a star.....he will bounce back with his next....Jayesh Jordaar never looked a massy movie anyways.....and same for 83...lovely movie but not for the masses......

Twitter has been abuzz with Ranveer's waning star power after the poor opening of Jayeshbhai. The TM certainly thinks the same. Peeps out here pretending as if no other actor ever had two back to back flops is hilarious indeed. 😆 Ranveer bounced back from the slump from Kill Dill, he shall bounce back from this too. The surprising fact is both movies are decent, they just happen to be duds at BO. But Ranveer's comparison here with he with Tiger and Kartik killed my spirit 😆

When people write off megastars like Salman and SRK...toh ye toh fir bhi Ranveer hai..😆..I have always said that once they reach a certain level of stardom....they don't lose their starpower....they have loyal followers....they just need one good movie to be back at the Box Office....but they don't lose their star power......Ranveer just needs another movie......Our Indian audience is certainly not kind to any movie that doesn't fit the checks for masala movie...like 90% of the times.....and Jayesh and 83 are both not the regular flicks.......well I am not surprised although how Veeru is being written off....this is what happens..🤔 people are too quick..

Kartik will save Bollywood and become a superstar.

He would be in good standing only if he goes for both commercial and off beat cinema. People will only flock to theaters for their movies for the content. Point in case being Jersey. @bold, since you missed it in my original post I'll repeat it again for you.

Jersey was the most effected film at the box office by KGF 2 because it released just one week after that movie.

It was also more of an OTT film just like Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

The original Telugu movie was available for free on YouTube with Hindi dubbing which many had watched already.

It wasn't critically acclaimed like the original film and many people made comparisons calling the original better.

But as usual excuses are only there when Ranveer gives a dud. Nobody is a star except HIM. Everyone can be written off easily except HIM.

I never wrote off Ranveer. Just pointing out the hypocrisy of people when it comes to Ranveer and other stars.
