KGF 2 Is A RECORD SMASHER And On Course For New Highs In Many Circuits

KGF 2 (Hindi) is setting the box office on fire across all Hindi circuits and is on course for record numbers in many circuits. The Hindi version of the film WILL cross 45 crore nett and it remains to be seen if it goes to the 50 crore nett mark or thereabouts

The film is beating the numbers of War and Thugs Of Hindostan at most places but the overall total is more difficult as there is not much from South for KGF 2. The Hindi version is hardly being screened in Hyderabad while Bangalore is better in terms of screenings but the Kannada version is dominant in the city.

KGF2 is beating the numbers of War in practically all the cinemas in Delhi / UP and Bihar but there is a difference in these places in terms of cinemas pre and post pandemic. There are cities which just dont do the business like before due to cinems being shut. If all was normal then KGF 2 would have cruised past the numbers of War in these two circuits while now its more difficult to say.

Gujarat / Saurashtra looks an all time record and may cross 6 crore nett. Odisha is certain record and might even get to unimaginable 2 crore nett.. CP Berar looks another all time record as do CI and Marathawada. East Punjab and West Bengal are flirting with records and maybe they can get 5 crore nett and 3 crore nett respectively.

Basically records are being smashed across the board at practically all the 2000 cinemas where the film has been released in. Its only some very high end multiplexes where the numbers will come in lower than other films. If the film falls short of 50 crore nett it will be basically because the release in terms cinemas is not as big as some other films due to a limited South release and lesser properties in certain markets now as compared to before the pandemic. The national chains will also see new highs for a film in Hindi. Inox is done already and PVR and Cinepolis should be records by the end of the day. Like for like KGF2 has smashed ALL opening day RECORDS for a film in HINDI. An estimate for the Hindi version would be around 47-48 crore nett at the moment.
