Why Neetu is ok with Alia but not Kat and DP? - Page 5

Neetu Kapoor has probably realised too much fuss is being detrimental.

1) Ranbir is aging nearing 40

2) Ranbir's philandering image is making it difficult to get choice of girls

3) DP, Katrina both were self respecting women, they demanded commitment and no compromise on cheating which they didn't get

4) Alia has earned a place in BW, has KJo as Papa so BW big shots are backing her

5) Alia has already said she is ok with physical infidelity aka ONS or cheating

6) Alia is marrying her crush , she is smitten so she will abide by Ranbir ( Ayan,) and Neetu decisions

7) Alia is young so parenthood can take some more years

She is in no position to depend, as her son is already 40 and it is hard to get so young Bahu. If she misses Alia with her attitude then donot know if Ranbir will get married or will stay single forever. So as a mother she desperately want her son to settle

Very true. Katrina was in a state that she was willing to do ANYTHING to be Ranbir s wife. Kat had even stated that she wasn’t as close to Ranbir s family as she wants . Meaning she did try but kept getting rejected by the Kapoors .

Ranbir also initially rebelled against his family and moved out and was a live in relationship with Kat for many years (the first public live in Bollywood) . But I guess in the end he chose family over his girlfriend.

More than DP , I feel Kat will be bothered by this wedding coz she had given her all to make Ranbir n her work . Later she must followed her mind rather than her heart and chose Vicky as her hubby.

Again Pinkvilla didn't say which newspaper this was from. It is hard to trust any news regarding the entertainment business.

I agree. DP has moved on for good & is pretty friendly with Ranbir and Alia both. On the other hand i can totally see Kat being hurt, no wonder she didn’t invited anyone from BW fraternity at her wedding & didn’t even held a reception for BW. I don’t see her being goody goody like DP as well. I bet she isn’t gonna attend Ranbir/Alia reception as well😆

Neetu Kapoor was famous for wanting a gori chitti bahu with good pedigree for her raja beta. On top of that, I'm sure she wants a girl who can be moulded into Kapoor family, won't speak up too much, and most importantly won't take her son away from her.

Deepika was neither gori nor had good BW pedigree, plus she did give off vibes of being obsessed with Ranbir, especially when he was doing well and she was not. Could have been taken as gold digger vibe. She also doesn't give off vibe of being controlled.

Katrina's fall was 2-fold: lack of pedigree, and Ranbir moved away from home to live with her.

Alia meets the criteria and even if she doesn't, Ranbir is almost 40 and way past his prime to get married (per regular desi standards, and probably his mom's).
