I hope all the profits made on showcasing the misery of the poor Kashmiri Pandits will be used in uplifting their lives and their cause.. If not all, even a tiny percentage of it would help them.

The reviews about this film and the sufferings of the kashmiri pandits are just harrowing.. I really want to watch this movie. Any idea when and which OTT platform it will be released on? I dont even mind paying just so that I can watch this movie and know more about the plight of a huge group of people in my own country. It is just so sad that none of this is included in our history books... all we learn about are mughals...like, who even cares anymore???🤬

I kinda agree with this review. Just coming back from watching the movie. And nice try by Vivek in furthering BJP’s agenda. The attempt wasn’t even subtle! I suspected as much and he didn’t disappoint me at all. Those who watched the movie they gloated about how there were no politics but just pure story about the whole exodus/genocide but there was so much propaganda about BJP that it wasn’t even subtle, wonder how they missed it!

The movie kept going back and forth from the present day to 1990 which was not necessary at all but obviously Vivek’s whole purpose is to gloat about the Article 370 more than the plight of the KPs so I guess I can’t blame him for being focussed on his agenda. He even went as far as making Pushkar, a Kashmiri Pandit, lie about being a migrant in his own homeland if the Article 370 wasn’t revoked.

The house was full and no sloganeering or any such nonsense went on thankfully!

Mithun and Pallavi Joshi excel. Anupam Kher hams to no end. The actor who played the daughter-in-law did a great job as well. Puneet and the other two guys as Pushakar’s friends were good, especially the guy who played the journalist! The rest of the cast were just below average not worth any mention!

Sad that a land of such great knowledge and wisdom is today known as the hub of terrorism n violence..a paradise lost.

Shardapeeth was also destroyed. Maa Sharda jahan se chali jaaye wahan Sukh aur Shaanti kaise aayegi.

Maybe that's the reason KPs were able to rebuild their lives elsewhere. They left everything behind but not their knowledge n wisdom.

Someone said Rahul Desai didn't love the film..he was the writer of that infamous filmy companion review for which he and Anupama Chopra faced flak.

Anyways doesn't matter. People like him or the reviewer of The Hindu are among the minority who didn't like the film. Nonetheless..they watched. And that's what matters
