My friend watched it..I asked if it's patchy and mediocre..and how is it in terms of acting..

She said in fact its not a film altogether its a great narration of reality ..very well done by all. M waiting to watch next week

can understand the mind of new gen KPs like Darshan's character. Most of the times parents try to shield their children from negativity..They don't talk about this just to make sure their kids don't grow up with bitterness in their heart. And it's OK.. they can form their own opinion once they grow up and learn the truth themselves..

Congress and Farooq has bloody hands in all of the events that led up to genocide and exodus. It didn't start with Kashmiri muslims vs kashmiri pandits. The initial issue that arose was some kashmiri muslims requesting a separate state. Pakistan and American were the ones who took advantage of the situation. Defenders of Those who supported Kashmir statehood with India were being killed left right and center, for hardliners it didn't matter whether that person was Hindu or Muslim.

Even before the Exodus, there was a call for independent kashmir, but it was not as violent. I suppose the tipping point was election manipulation in 1987, which continued to build up and warning signs were all visible between 1987 and 1990. Rajiv Gandhi and Farooqq Abdullah sat silently and allowed the pressure to build, which resulted in genocide and exodus.

It is illogical to blame the new government, which was appointed on January 19th, right when the exodus occurred. No one would have the resources to put a stop at whatever happened in such short time.

Usually I avoid films based on political agenda , caste and violence and always thought that serious issues like these should not be meant to be watched for entertainment. But I could connect as an audience and feel the pain that people in Kashmir have to go through. While watching the movie, I felt a sense of gratitude for the problems that we face in our daily lives is nothing compared to what the people staying in Kashmir have to go through. Applause to the whole team for handling such sensitive issue and really hope that the coming generations don't get to witness terror attacks and gory acts. Watching Pallavi Joshi after long time and she was superb. Even the actor who played Farook Malik...👏
