So according to some people, nobody can say anything against precious Bollywood or they are bitter and whining LMAO.

I guess the ones giving lectures definitely haven't ever complained about anything in their life. Well, sitting from a distance and judging people is as easy as whining.

People will money and resources will use it as they deem fit…it’s their money , their choice

As an audience yoi have a choice of rejecting that iinstead investing in “content” by non nepo products …except the only choice made here is to reject the nepo products…no concentration whatsoever on the other part where we watch and encourage films like A Thursday

The very fact that u chose to concentrate on bringing down gangubai and aliaa instead of bothering to watch or review or discuss a Thursday …shows that they spent the money in the right direction…they spent money where there is public attention ….and where there is a chance of some sort of return

Shitting on nepo products is not going to result in outsiders feeling more valued or appreciated…as evidenced in this case …Bringing down the former will not empower the latter …

How is it possible 😂 where did that audience go 😂 🤣

Yep ..this whole non nepo movement is nothing but lip service at the end of the day

People will only watch content that is aggressively promoted and that they find interesting

even if that interest is curiosity to see someone fail …

It’s all fair and good …as long as they stop pretending to be some woke messiahs with a mission to “clean” Bollywood

That’s a false comparison. Kangana didn’t make news because she told her own stories. She made news because she attacked others and named names. Big names. That’s what caught media’s attention. Do you think Kangana’s complaints about nepotism would have gotten the mileage it did if she hadn’t directed it at KJo, to his face, on his show? I know Kangana has a lot of issues and the drama on KWK was tame comparatively. But that still put her on KJo’s crap list. Point being if you get too aggressive with your complaints in Bollywood you run the danger of being blackballed. On top of everything else outsiders have to also learn how to pick their battles and not ruffle too many feathers.

I agree.

For a bit, I considered Urvashi Rautela to be a joke....I still do, but there's something brilliant about her approach. By touting herself as the "best thing ever" in every single thing (no matter how vapid), she created her own headlines, and she made her name known. Now I still don't know what exactly Urvashi's job description is or why she's even famous, but I do know is that there's some famous person named "Urvashi Rautela" and there's constant press, media, and social media stuff about her. If she didn't do her own self-hype the way she has, frankly I wouldn't have even heard of her.

Even Deepika did something similar in the 2009-2010 days - made sure to bring attention to herself over and over again. Press, media appearances, and of course garnered her own gossip to carry her along until she had better films.

Unfortunately I think that's what Yami, Mrunal etc have to do if they want to be considered in the same line. If not, then they're going to keep remaining in the periphery

But I’m not advocating for Yami to speak on her issues/complaints

Im advocating for Yami to speak more about her films/songs etc. (since someone in this thread who’s on Yamis side even said she doesn’t do maybe cause she’s introvert) We won’t know what happens till she does.

Kanagna wasn’t blacklisted for the nepo comment …she was supported for it…Kjo himself could have chosen to edit it out of his own show but he didn’t . everyone gave her the platform to voice her concerns…

Everyone only got pissed when she started using that platform for her toxic name calling , baseless accusations, bigoted tweets and personal attacks for no reason …

This actress did Kaabil w Hrithik in 2017. An during that time Karan was running a season of KWK. It made news that he invited HR but told him to come alone. Instead HR didnt go at all out of protest. These 2 instead went on Bigg Boss. Then in summer 2020 this news resurfaced during the SSR thing. Now here we are almost 2 years after that. 5 years after the original incident.

An ya the know what ? This girl isnt any more famous/successful than she was then 🤣

Shes always been on a certain tier and I dont think its anyones fault but her own 😆

Fair point. It’s even been discussed that she needs a better PR, which she does. But that still doesn’t take away from the fact that entertainment media overhypes some and ignores others, and that most of that overhyped some are star kids.
