Why do actresses always goto roles of prostitutes or madams when trying to prove their "acting skills". It's either biopics or these kind of "art" movies.

Gangu is the double whammy - a biopic of a madam. Sure I will spend my time and money on this 🙄

I definitely cringed when I saw Shaitan’s post. She should have never insinuated that Mahesh Bhatt was a pimp or whatever her insinuation about Alia was. And I agreed with posters who criticized for that specifically. But a big line was crossed when someone attacked her personally. First by sarcastically asking her if she had first hand experience of it with a picture of Alia from Gangu as a prop. And then when Shaitan answered that question she was called mentally ill. No. Just no. At the end of the day actors are just actors and we are all here to discuss, disagree, and have fun. You can’t jump from actors to actual posters here in that manner.

And may I remind everyone of the numerous times Karishma Kapoor was called a prostitute on this very forum and her mom as her pimp. No one was called mentally ill for that. Let’s not be hypocrites because defending Alia satiates our hate for others.
