Fake marriage ! She won't leave him and he will continue to cheat 😳

I'm surprised that kajol gets more flak for being a doormat than he gets for being a cheater...

Though I didn't think kajol would be the type to put up with this shit given how arrogant, short tempered and muh-phat she seems.

There was some interviews where both have said why the marriage works.

1) Children.

2) The rich lifestyle.

3) Ajay mentioned how Kajol respects and takes care of his parents and family even more than he does.

4) Kajol mentioned that though she is friendly and friends with Ajay , Ajay is not friendly or friends, he is merely polite and he apparently stated that he will stand by and support her family but won't be friendly or friends with Kajol friends and she said that she is enough for her friends but is happy with Ajay support for her family, he has helped Tanisha and her mom quite a bit.

Not saying that he or she are correct but both choose to be in the relationship for various reasons.

Tbh most millionaire marriages fidelity and love are not the primary factor. It is about kids and building strategic alliances, money and power.

Agree on all points except that Kajol didn’t need him at all. This makes sense when there’s a power imbalance and the woman is practicing hypergamy through marriage or for real business empire alliances. Kajol was a superstar when she got married- she doesn’t need his money or power, and she has She really could divorce him like Karishma. That’s why I don’t cut her any slack.

@bold : Thats not only for millionaires. Love and fidelity is certainly not norm for working of marriage in Indian society. Arranged marriages (there might be exceptions) are also about stragetic family alliances and money and power hierarchy at their level. This applies to every other house in India as women are not ready to divorcer cheater, abuser husbands because it is about kids, their future and womens' own security in the society. Most of the women are not financial independent in Indian society. In middle class and lower class, kids marriage (especially in arranged amrriage) divorce of parents is a big thing.

Kajol was definitely a bigger star when they got married. But would she still have been a bigger star today? Knowing how limited the life span of a leading actress is in Bollywood, even with the changing times. Wasn’t her own mother a superstar at one point? But Tanuja didn’t sustain her stardom and who’s knows if Kajol would have been. That doesn’t mean that she wouldn’t have been able to find work at all and would have become destitute. It means that perhaps she didn’t want to continue to work full time through her 30s and 40s. She doesn’t come across as hugely ambitious or motivated either.

I’m not defending her stance, whatever that maybe. But I honestly don’t think she’s some miserable doormat who cries herself to sleep every night because her husband strays. I think she’s genuinely happy with the set up she has for her life.

He cheated on her while he was doing Rascals..was he with someone after that.

There has to be some good points about Ajay if Kajol is still with him.. !!

No one is perfect.. and there is "no one" who can guarantee that the next person they choose will not have any faults like previous one.

You can't change partners like you change dress.. it is huge emotional investment. And many times you realize that you can't live without that person and that life without him will not be happy..

If Kajol made that decision then it is her choice and we should respect that instead of calling her doormat.

I feel that she is strong to keep the family together and making the family happy!! breaking is always easy... keeping it together needs strength.
