Aditya's hosting just doesn't hit the same.

My favorite was Nitin 😎 Although, it was obvious Salman would win. I thought this season was pretty good about not shoving a sob story down people's throats. They focused on the bonding between the judges-contestants, host-contestants, host-judges, etc. And it all looked very natural.

Saumya was really good. There was a reason he got 2 golden mikes. But some of his performances were not upto the mark in the mid of the season. Perhaps he was not getting the right songs or some other reason but he was not that consistent.

Nitin is so underrated.

My favourite was Kunal. Among top 5 I wanted Salman to win.

I wonder how contestants feel when they get a song that's so wrong for them while others get perfectly selected songs.

Soumya was the most tagda and tayyaar singer of the lot, unfortunately they didn't give him the best songs. Yet, he performed very well with whatever he got.

Nitin and his kaccha 🤣 Jk jk, I really liked his singing too. His voice was also better than Salman's and he could sing the same genre too. Vibhor and Kunal were amazing. Imo Vibhor, Kunal, Ankush and Neelu were perfect for Top 5. Salman was really good, but he was genre restricted...the winner should have been someone who could sing multiple genres.

I liked Aditya's hosting when he wasn't copying Manish...like back when he had first started hosting.

@bold: Absolutely! Everyone's story was very genuine and those guys truly connected with the audience. Nothing against the laster seasons, but I doubt season 12's contestants would be able to connect with people had the show not aired for almost a year.

Not a fan of Vishal and Neha as judges, but Manish's hosting, his bonding with the contestants, the friendship and love the contestants had for each other hit differently ❤️

Manish had something for everyone 😆 There were themes for everyone: Neelu (slow thinker and reactions), Renu (aaoouuaa aaoouuaa), Ankush (dilon ka shooter), Soumya (beauty parlour) 😆

Watching the later seasons, its evident that TCT is trying to recreate the same thing. Unfortunately in Idol 12, my favourite didn't win

SRGMP is basically Idol on Zee. I can't even differentiate between the two. Neelu is obviously very good, but Rajshri is no less. Sachin is such an improvement from Idol 10 and Snigdajit is brilliant. Sanjana can sing well but at this point, the channel is just using her and her family for TRPs. The only one I cannot stand is Ananya. She goes itna besura and still gets 100% score and standing ovations 🤡
