As far as I can see, both the divas are doing films when they like, are financially secure, and are happily married.

Coz he did something heroic for her and she paid him off by doing something vampish to him. Whereas Salman didn't do anything to him. When Vivek was a promising newcomer that was the time for multistarrers. Most of his multistarrers worked but solo films didn't, and when multistarrer trend ended his career as a hero also ended.

Big family tag? You must mean a celeb name. Because financially speaking, Mads and Juhi seem to be doing very well.

And yeah... they're both still working. Just not the mainstream movies. It is a good thing senior actors now have plenty of options besides retiring to the forest.

So what exactly do you think they lack in their lives that Aishwarya got with the Bachchan tag? Relevance in Bollywood? If that were the case, Abhishek would've been a rip-roaring success.

@ Anika & Autumn_ Rose, I do agree woth somethings you'll have said. However, IMO Vivek's downfall started with the infamous press conference. Vivek's behaviour and actions at time gave BW and outsiders a bad impression about him. Aishwarya for whom he did the press conference disregarded him and ultimately he received only backlash. So Vivek probably believes Ash is responsible for his downfall.

It’s a case of one extreme emotion being replaced with another. Have y’all seen the KWK with Vivek?! He was awesome in that. He really went out of his way to defend Aishwarya. If he had done that post the #metoo era, he would have been praised to the skies. But everyone made fun of him back then. Then of course he broke up with the girl he publicly defended so he probably felt like a fool in the times he was living in. I get it. What I don’t get it why he keeps apologizing to Salman? Aishwarya not being in his life anymore doesn’t change how vile Saman’s actions were back then.

THIS. If his intentions were decent from the get go then he would have never publicly apologised to Salman and proceed to kiss his diapered ass. Dumped or not, someone who defends or speaks against abuse shouldn’t backtrack or apologise for doing the right thing, unless of course they had an agenda, which Vivek clearly did. 🤭

He just needs someone to pin his dead career on, and Ash is the easiest to blame. Nepo kid kahin ka ... lack of personal responsibility and accountability seems to be their common denominator. 😆

I'd have had far more respect for him if he'd said that he doesn't regret taking a stand for his beliefs and convictions at the time, irrespective of the person he was supporting.

I agree that Salman has nothing to do with what happened with Vivek. TM's question is why Vivek hates Aishwarya. So IMO it has lot to do with Aishwarya not supporting him.
