Some men love to play savior to their girlfriends and do "bold" things to make themselves look like they are super strong and able boyfriends. Especially if the girl happens to be Aishwarya Rai during her younger days, their egos will know no bounds. It's no surprise that Vivek made a huge spectacle out of it and openly challenged Salman, her ex. So, chances are he pulled that stunt to appear more imposing than her ex and win her over. Dating someone doesn't mean marriage is around the corner, certainly not in bollywood, and certainly not if she just wanted a respite from an obsessive and abusive ex. Aishwarya "fooling" him with false promises of marriage is therefore a totally cuckoo theory. 😆

No wonder these two incompetent men with emotional maturity of 2 year old were dumped unceremoniously by Ash.

@ Anika & Autumn_ Rose, I do agree woth somethings you'll have said. However, IMO Vivek's downfall started with the infamous press conference. Vivek's behaviour and actions at time gave BW and outsiders a bad impression about him. Aishwarya for whom he did the press conference disregarded him and ultimately he received only backlash. So Vivek probably believes Ash is responsible for his downfall.

She didn’t ask him to do it. Aish was always super careful in public life and he just laid it bare.

I repeat, he didn’t do it for her. He did it for himself.

Aish never said or probably never did anything in retaliation which is why he continues to act like this. No wonder she called him immature.
