"SubhanAllah" song from YJHD was by Sonu dubbed by T Series

SubhanAllah song from YJHD was a Sonu song dubbed by T Series in 2013 when the label put a ban on Sonu Nigam because of him being vocal about illegal contracts,

the version which get released is bound to sound good on it , if kal ho na ho was released with sreeram it would never be the same for nigam then similary if T series kept sonu version instead for subhanAllah it would have his song only 😉

and its not for comparison , its for that sonu was getting big films and more songs in 2013 and further years, if the music label issue and sonu bann never got happened Sonu could have been popular in current youth too

Maybe his voice didn't suit the song. Sreeram sounds amazing, fresh and breezy in that song. That album had a very diverse set of singers Mohit, Rekha B who I doubt had any label backing. Dharma specially has a lot of control of who sings what so maybe Sonu version wasn't as good.

Yeh jawan hai diwani is a 2013 release , the year when Sonu Nigam was banned by T Series ,,,so 100 percent it was the label and bhushan kumar not taking and he did the same in many films like kick and main tera hero and heartless, Heropanti during those times and all are T SERES films,,, Sonu was banned because sonu spoke agaisnt the wrong treatment and illegal contract and he was very vocal about it during 2013,,,and regarding sonu version he just told in interview that it was his best sung version of that song which got dubbed

It just happened that We are the 1st ones to stand up to these issues which affects not only all of us but also to the next generation of singers. Is adhereing to the law of the land a crime?”

So all the songs got dubbed because Sonu was not singing the contract rather than the other way round of song not suiting etc ...

I know of this but this was at the end of 2013 while YJHD came in may 2013 early that year. Even if they had banned Sonu why didn't they remove Sunidhi who is also mentioned in the article and also sung Dilliwaali Girlfriend in the movie. 2014 is when the Ban's effect started showing on most singers careers not 2013. Pritam is a confused guy he himself started this trend of multiple singers he never knows what he wants.

Sonu was leading the movement not sunidhi , Sonu was vocal about it not any other artist the effect on singers were shown as soon as they stood agaisnt the label , and i also know that pritam record one song with multiple singers , but he only call sonu when he is 100 percent sure that its going to be sung by sonu and no one else, now if sonu has sung this song of pritam , it was surely recorded with sonu only , later it dubbed due to company not releasing it ,,,now the song of Laal singh chaada is the sonu song , pritam is 100 sure that no one else could do besides sonu , and thats when he call sonu to sing his songs , and is not recorded with anyone else to experiment,

and sonu and salman tussle also started in 2013 only when salman said that song gets popular on our faces what royalty singers asking for and to which sonu replied this in link its from 2013 interview , and after which next year salman said that he can now sing his own songs with help of technology now he dont need sonu nigam or playback singers to croon for me

in interview during those days Abhijeet said that you are the leader of all singers community , i do what i do is for my own self but you are fighting for all of us , this shows that sonu nigam was the only singer on forefront and vocal about at that point of time , rest of them were supporting sonu stance but at the same time was going diplomatic way so that their work doesn't suffer
