It feels like every second article either talks about his snooty attitude or his eternal threats to leave.

This Shah person tried to make a quick buck and didn't care about his *old friends,* the producers of the remake.

Karthik might have threatened to walk out, but more loss would have been if the dubbing released, and they completed the remake to a loss. More likely, Allu people threatened legal action, and Shah is using Karthik as excuse to hide behind.
