Once again, a few here and there is not unusual. But by and large, older women having children makes it more likely that children are born with defects - research proven - and that the moms have a more physically taxing time - also research proven.

Also, you don't know what else those older moms did to make sure they had healthy children. Amnio at 13 weeks to detect genetic abnormalities is routine.

Look, I'm not advocating for surrogacy over normal pregnancy and childbirth. It's just that women have a lot of reasons for opting for surrogacy, and it should prob not be reduced to *oh, she didn't want to ruin her figure.*

FGS, she has the cash to regain her figure with a plastic surgeon's help if she so chose!

And reproductive biology is fact no matter how many times anyone claims otherwise. Maybe technology will advance some day to where it can be overcome, but we're not there yet.

Could you quote me the law you mentioned which makes VOLUNTARY tubal ligation, not FORCED, difficult for women?

FYI, this is what ACOG says on sterilization:

https://www.acog.org/clinical/clinical-guidance/committee-opinion/articles/2017/04/sterilization-of-women-ethical-issues-and-considerations

maybe every state is different. One coworker was lucky to get tube tied but another coworker of mine was telling me how her and another girl can't get tube tied, doctors keep telling me to come back years from now. Why they have to wait years from now? Every state has rules about tube tied so I think if doctors and research are saying difficult to have kids after 35, if women wanting to have her tubes tied they should let them, many states have rules about tube tied maybe you live in a state do not have rules about it.

Well, show me where a U.S. state has rules against it.

If they did it the backdoor way and announced it in public, it would be very stupid of them. PC struck me as many things but not stupid.

But like I said I know way too many people in real life who had healthy kids in their late 30's, 40's and 50's, from family, to friends, to patients and etc. I know everything in life has risk in it and you have to be careful but I just know moms in their 20's having kids with defects.

I am not saying they are against it but the fact that doctors are turning down women who want their tubes tied means is not an easy process, they have to go to the doctors for years just to tell them their decision has not changed.

WTF... this is the reason they chose surrogacy?

Too busy to conceive a child but they are deciding to raise one. That poor kid

The lamest excuse ever for surrogacy..

If you are too busy that can't meet during ovulation... still you can go for IUI or IVF not surrogacy.

And I don't think surrogacy is that much difficult in india

So in short PC iether you have fertility issues or you don't want to compromise your figure for natural pregnancy.

Stop lying ...
