AK is one of my favorite movies. But I wonder if the John Abraham- Arjun Kapoor combo can repeat the magic. Audience have written off Arjun and even if he puts in a good performance they are not going to warm up to him. John in his younger days gave a credible performance of the rich arrogant brat. Wonder if he's capable of a more grounded performance playing an older character who is very similar to Nana Patekar's character -albeit without the temper..

He was good in Ishaqzaade and Aurangzeb. And he put in some decent effort recently in Sandeep and Pinky Faraar. Now that he's gotten back in shape too, it seems he's finally getting the message too. But too little too late. He didn't make full use of his privilege and opportunities. And once the audience have made up their mind it's near impossible to change their mind.

Trust Prithviraj to smell an opportunity. He's a great actor capable of nuanced performances. But always a bigger businessman.

Emraan has been struggling since his last hit Murder 2, the man once who used to give hit after hit suddenly went downhill.

I wish the new young crop would imbibe some of Akki's work ethic. But no, they all want to be "selective" and do one movie per year. That said, Driving Licence is a terrible film about the clash between a fan and his favorite actor who insults him. The script writer himself finetuned the script and directed a new movie "Ayyappanum Koshiyum" which proved to be an even bigger hit. Ironically the rich arrogant character is played by the same actor Prithviraj in Malayalam in both the movies.

This was the story of Fan.
