He was the only reason I didn't fall asleep too. Just like he's the only reason I don't fall asleep during their couple interviews... or any interview where he's a part of the team.

Deepika was a snoozefest and I had a hard time accepting that her unibrowed, plain jane face launched a war. Shahid was a misfit. That left us with nothing to relish except Ranveer in all his glory as demented Khilji. 😆

The only impression Shahid left on me was the sight of his tiny nipples. 😆 Otherwise, he looked like a little boy playing dress-up with the adults. RS stole the show for me with his psychotic and yet hilarious antics as Khiji. Pure entertainment.

Nope, ranveer was really good as khilji. Ranbir wouldn't even have put in any effort to atleast look the part

No they would be super flop movies if ranbir did them

Ranveer singh has flamboyance that ranbir does not have to carry warrior roles

Khilji and Kafur were onlly entertaining factors of padmavaat

Depika and shahid were worst both looks and acting in padmavaat

Priyaka and Ranveer stole show in bajiroa

Neither Ranbir or ranveer are actors or good actors they are stars

Bur Ranveer singh has zing factor required by hero on screen to potray warrior or tough roles

And his simbaa comedy was also good unlike ranbir who cannot do abc of comedy or action like ranveer

Ranveer is all rounder

On topic, no, I don't think he can pull off a Khilji, because I can't see him eating a peice of meat like that, Kapoor khandaan ka vaaris hai, aisa kya behave karna ki 4 din ka bhooka hai aur abhi khaana mila?

But in all seriousness, maybe it's because, unlike Rajkumar, Vicky, Shahid who have played both, +ve romantic characters to dark or grey characters, Ranbir hasn't done anything like that, atleast on the top of my head.

Ranbir hasn't played a larger than life character, evil or otherwise. Even Sanju, who should've been larger than life, was reduced to a version of Ranbir, except drugs and bad company.

I doubt he would've carried off Khilji or Bajirao. Or we would've ended up with sad little man-boy Khilji who just needed to find his way in life. A medieval version of Wake Up, Alauddin. Same for Bajirao.

Brahmastra and Animal might break the mold though.

you should watch rajneeti what ranbir did in that film was what you called an actually gray shaded character ranveer s khilji was caricaturish

and can we please stop with this man-child who finds way in life because that just a flimsy arguement ranbir s filmography is full off characters who were anything were man child samar is one of them

even bunny was anything but man-child a college going who knew exactly where wants to do in life and even works hard for it is no way lost or immature

wake up sid was only movie he played a man child and probably apkgk

the answer is yes he can do it and pull it off better than ranveer
