I dislike both Harry and Ron but definitely Ron for Hermione and death for Harry because he was annoying

If we are taking HP canon to consideration here then Harry and Hermione never desired each other in the first place and shared a platonic relationship. So the question of her choosing between him and Ron doesn't arise at all. It was always Ron for her and Ginny for him because that is what the author intended for. If we remove the HP context from the equation and if I,as an individual,had to pick between a man who claimed to have feelings for me but thought of another woman in his dying moment and one who offered to be tortured in my stead then I would consider the former to be good riddance and move on with the latter provided we click well with each other. If JKR wanted to go the Harmony route then she would have done so and it would have been Hermione whose thoughts Harry would be having in his last moments and we wouldn't be having this conversation right now.

A regular guy beating up multiple men without breaking a sweat only happens in movies. He can go and fight for you but he ain't going to win. More chances of him landing in hospital.😆

No he can sweat and bleed even (even that's quite HOT) but he should at least know how to beat up a couple of guys. No hospitals please mere paas hospital wale kapde nai hai🤦‍♀️

I Harry Potter 1 and 2 but I stopped after that. An that was in 2002. Overall they made like 7 right ? Magical worlds and fantasy isn’t really my thing

But in Orlando, Florida at universal studios I went to a place there and they had built like Hogwarts. It was nice scenery

Looking at the two options, I'd say neither...because if both men love me, I'd expect them to buck up and put their ass on the line to save me

But since this is a Harry Potter reference here are my two cents.

There is a huge difference between the two scenarios. Harry was about to die to save every one he loved, which included Ginny. It was a selfless act in order to stop innocent people from being murdered. So I don't see anything wrong in him wanting to kiss Ginny one last time.

Ron was not as strong as Bellatrix so he knew he couldn't defeat her. The only thing, however, he could do was offer himself for torture which he did. That too was a selfless act. But Bellatrix was a sadist with deep-rooted hatred for Muggles.

However, coming to the Harry Potter ships, the films tried to create this image with certain scenes that Harry and Hermione was possible, for example:

1. when Hermione recovers from being Petrified she hugs Harry

2. Rita Skeeter's managing to get a picture of Hermione hugging Harry before the first round of the Triwizard Tournament and pass it off as romance

3. Hermione kissing Harry's forehead after the second round of the Triwizard Tournament.

4. Time-turner scenes in Prisoner of Azkaban

In the books, they have a strictly platonic relationship but they do love each other dearly. As a kid I always thought Harry and Hermione should have ended up together, but now I feel JK did a brilliant job in keeping them platonic, because not every boy-girl friendship has to culminate into love.

I didn't mind Harry and Ginny in the books because you can see how they started liking each other and it gradually turned into love. They did have things in common, like Quidditch. Like from gradually noticing Ginny to getting jealous over seeing her with Dean, and then them getting together. The movie did not have enough build up.

Coming to Ron, I never felt he was a good match for Hermione. I disliked him immensely in the movies due to his annoying and nagging nature. I was neutral towards Ron in the books though.

Although I do feel Hermione and Ron were not an appropriate match. I can imagine they would have dated for a while and then gone their separate ways because they were two very different individuals. Hermione is intellectually brilliant and would want that from her partner. Not talking about books and knowledge at all times, but someone who would intellectually stimulate her. I don't see Ron doing that and definitely don't see Movie Ron doing that!

The only character from the franchise I felt was perfect for Hermione was *controversy incoming* Draco Malfoy. He check boxes every characteristic that I imagined Hermione's life partner would have. Coming to him being a Death Eater and belonging to a Pure Blood manic Family, he could have easily had his redemption from Book 5. JK could have made him into a character who understood what his family was doing was extremely wrong, and then stealthily changing sides. They would have been the modern day Lily and Snape, and it would have been good to see someone from the Dark Side shunning the inhumane ways and fighting alongside Harry.
