If you think people are annoyed with certain members for disliking a certain actress, perhaps you're lacking a very important piece... cuz believe it or not, nobody cares who you like or dislike here. It's the means they use to bash that grind my gears, not the fact that they dislike the actress by itself. I can even appreciate classy bashing cuz I love biting humor even if it's against an actor i like. But sorry, sexism, ageism and misogyny were never funny and never will be, not in my books.

And perhaps you're missing an important part of the discussion here. Using problematic social prejudices that continue to set people back (esp. women) as a means to degrade an actor you loathe .... will offend people en masse. After a certain point, it ceases to matter which actor you're bashing, if you know what I mean.

@ Bold. No he's not. I dislike the same actress for various reasons but it doesn't mean I get to mock her for being 48 yrs old as if that's a flaw in her character. It was explicitly about her age and not a part of some larger "joke" that some of us don't get.
