Abhishek benefits from his association with her as much as she does from the Bachchan part at the end of her name. If it weren't for his marriage to her he'd have been forgotten by the public long ago He gets visibility because of her and it wouldn't be a stretch to say Amitabh gets some too. So it's a trade off even if they don't love each other. They seem to be getting along and that's good enough. Love is overrated anyway.

Personally ,even though I find Abhishek likeable I can't imagine having to be around Paaaaaa and Jaya so along. One is a narcissist and the other one is morose. Crazy price to pay , but I guess there's no such thing as a free surname.

Yeah always frowning. She used to look so sweet in her youth. Ash seems to have people skills so she must manage alright. Probably giggles her way through it . Or maybe after a couple of Mummyji Suniyes she takes Jaya to a corner and says "Abey chup Kar dayan, zyaada ho gaya toh agli baar bete ko France nahi le jaoongi..believe you me !"

How do you really now if anyone be they a celeb or a regular jane/joe loves their spouse or not. That is a question very few people other than the actual person can answer. You cannot go by PDA or whatever you think you see. Being in an intimate relationship and Love itself means different things to different people. It is not all roses and rainbow unicorns or se x. There are moments in life in private that no one ever sees when a spouse performs a great sacrifice or a great action and shows you the greatest purest love or you them and that is what forges a matrimonial bond. So the what or why is really no one's business?

p.s. for these two if it was just a last name association they would have broken it off long ago, neither one "needs" the other for financial motives besides once married the association remains forever in particular with a child in between. People divorce all the time and they can't shake off the ex...title no matter how hard they try, in fact even made up in the head of a psycho relationships still get resurrected from the dead every so often by yellow press gossipers and they ain't even real....

Does Miss Dignity, Grace, Elegance, and Poise love anyone besides herself? She's the best offscreen actress, the way she pretended to be in love with a new man every year just to use him is brilliant.

She was running away from 3-4 boyfriends after using them and poor Abhishek happened to be the best choice in her next step. Abhishek is her key to Bachchan name and everything that comes with it. It's sad to see how badly she treats Abhishek and acts like only her and her daughter matter.

Poor Bachchans. Are they feeling terrible at being used like Salman and Vivek did?

Regarding Ash…for her to bear with such in laws for so long when she doesn’t need money means that she is either crazy in love or was crazy desperate for protection. I honestly don’t think BW or HW is safe for single attractive women.

I honestly think that the majority of marriages (even non BW) are not actually based on love as the odds to find and marry a soulmate in this era is a challenge. Just looking at my broad acquaintances, I only know one couple who truly fell in love (and they are still together after 20 years). The others married because they either wanted children, companionship or a better lifestyle. That’s why people divorce for the stupidest things. I’d rather grow old and become a cat lady then marry for companionship, children or lifestyle. But that’s my own personal preference as I wouldn’t be able to tolerate or spend my life with one person if I wasn’t in love with them. I’m surrounded by friends who married out of genuine love and I want what they have or nothing at all. 😆
