How is that even possible??😕 I can agree that they can be bad employers like Walmart and Amazon are....but are you telling me that they are free to do whatever they want??

Ola uber zomato swiggy.... All claim to be aggregators not employers.. ... So they have 'partners' not employees.. So no labour laws apply... As to why govt doesn't take action, the power of big money and lobbying... Ola Uber workers went on months long strike but no one budged an inch

These jobs are such that they go through difficulties to do their job. Whether it's army men, deliveyr boys, dabbawalas, construction workers and even doctors. Didn't people praise doctors for working during the pandemic? Zomato did the same and indeed even appreciated them for the job. Construction workers risk their lives during their job and even army men. I don't get EXPLOITATION in all this? If companies start promoting machines, workers make a hullahoo saying we lost our job 🤪Then self-driving cars are the best for such jobs 🤔

Uff people are sooo agumentative. I thought the ad is nice and is trying to tell that their customer service is good, nothing else.

So what if they shot it 2 months ago (let's assume it is true) - they could still not publish and promote the ad. The company is worth billions of dollars. Certainly they could let a few lakhs be wasted and re-shoot the ad with their brand ambassadors?

Few lakhs?? The outfit they wear would be in lakhs. Re shooting of ads would be a nightmare with schedules and cost in crores. Definitely not something a loss making company can afford.

I think the ad wasn’t meant to show that the company is exploitative but that the delivery boys are dedicated to the job.. the intent wasn’t bad here.. it just came out all wrong 😆

Just like all movies in the world are offered to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, this ad was also offered to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. But she was busy doing nothing as usual so she rejected this ad (in the same way she rejects all the movies in the world). Only after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan rejected this ad, then it went to Katrina. Should Katrina be sued for doing an ad that could have been done by Aishwarya? Because only Aishwarya Rai has the claim over all movies and ads.

Why do ppl have to shit on everything these days?

What’s with this unnecessary extrapolating?
the ad just says the delivery ppl are committed and punctual.

Bas,

They are not promoting them risking their lives for a delivery, or any other dystopic non sense ppl like to believe
