I thought people were exaggerating about her banter being uncomfortable and cringey. Then i watched the video

That wasn't funny or witty at all. It was just whiny. Its like she is begging for validation here - probably insecure that she can't act? Because thats what it was boiling down to

I've read stories online about her rudeness to fans and public in general but didn't buy it entirely cz thought she's entitled to her privacy and might be having a bad day or something... And people do have a tendency to exaggerate...

But here she's really rude...Maybe she thinks desis owe her for her presence here

Very weird banter. I know she hates being called harworking...as if that's even a compliment anyway. Think about it this way...if a doctor is doing his job he or she would be a hard worker but also be knowledgeable, empathetic, great with people etc...but as an actress is being hard working really the best thing? Maybe, as I am sure all big stars work hard, not just Katrina.

It's hilarious if she seriously thinks anyone has anything else to say about her other than that and her overrated "dancing skills" and looks. Everyone knows she is a pathetic actress even after so long and the fact that she refused to answer in Hindi just made her look too arrogant. Like she could literally not give a sh*t to learn after being in India for how many years at that time, 8-9 years? 🤡

It's just recently she started to try and even then it comes off rehearsed. I don't care if your hindi is bad but like at least try man...it's been since 2003 and you still suck!

Love Katrina but this was a bit passive aggressive 🤡

I understand the core of what she meant but it didn’t really help that she’s been willingly part of this by agreeing to do just flower pot roles, item numbers and not really improving her acting skills or even trying to better her Hindi…

She’s always been content with that especially when first she was under “protection” of bhai and then later on comfortable with the tag of future kapoor bahu… it is only after her breakup with ranbir that she has kind of come out of her own shell… she used to be cold and aloof… I like Katrina 2.0 much better than her previous self where she was happy with doing 5 mins roles and 3 songs.

It seems like she wanted to be appreciated like Anushka but maybe these people didn’t find her work praiseworthy.

She’s coming across a bit whinny complaining about how she wants to be appreciated.

Also this forum has a lot of Katrina haters, I don’t agree with them when they spew all that hatred towards her…

Her work had value and she was appreciated by audience which is why she is given all these roles by big movie banners. Or else many women after her have tried to ape her formula but haven’t seen even have of the success she has had.

I found nothing wrong with it. You speak more or express disagreement or ask for something only to those you are comfortable with and have a certain level of trust.

Katrina was not seen talking like that with Aamir or Salman. It is a sign of camaraderie and good comfort level that SRK shares with his co stars. Katrina did make a valid point on how women in SRK films are presented in dignified manner, have substantial stuff to do as actors and are not just props like heroines in films of other stars.

I feel Katrina does know she is not praised for her acting at all which is why she perhaps seeks more compliments for her acting or attempt at acting than just her looks or perosnality.

It must hurt her to hear she is popular only for looks and body and not acting skills. Or that her attempts to improve or effort she makes are not yielding results as she may have expected.

She seems to crave to be taken seriously as an actor but unfortunately her performances do not merit such a response or compliments from anyone for her acting.

I do not find her interviews insufferable. Kajol also expresses disagreements with her male co stars in interviews or interrupts as co stars are speaking. That is just some people's nature or level of camaraderie they feel with their co actors.

It is more of a compliment to SRK if people feel more comfortable speaking to him or seek compliments from him.
