Thoughts on Khubsurat (2014) ?!

Saw it completely for the first time today. The movie had some fab actors for sure, even Sonam wasn't that bad. 😆 Fawad was such a dream

Songs weren't the best (except Abhi Toh Party) and the screenplay got a little chalky. But other than that, it was a fun watch 😆

Sonam is miscast

I never liked the movie. I think I had such high hopes for the movie because this is the genre I love to eat, breathe and live so I felt this movie would be perfect for me. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. Sonam's character didn't seem like an adult, she seemed like a high school character and acted like one. Fawad's character lacked the charisma that I am used to seeing from Fawad in Pakistani dramas. The movie wasn't the worst. But I definitely wouldn't rewatch it again.

I wanted to like this movie but Sonam Kapoor's character and her poor acting really put me off.

It was a feel good film

It was basically a disney princess film but a Hindi one 😆

Sonam Kapoor once again doing her [insert Rajeev Masand impression] stint. But she was likeable in this movie. Cute songs, cute cinematography, but overall not that impressive.

It was a fun movie. Fawad acting was spot on. Sonam was bearable but overall the movie was fine.
