haan toh phir, hum bhi na kuch na kuch loop holes khoj hi lete hai.
where are you located?
Geneva achha hai na. really pretty.
I'm in Toronto, Canada.
Yeah it's so gorgeous and so connected as well. I took a hotel outside the main city and I could walk to the bus stop everyday (5 min walk) and it would connect me to the main city within 20 mins. And the best thing is that a tourist, you get a free 72 hour bus pass that you can keep getting renewed, so no worries about how much to pay, where to get tickets/bus pass, etc. And once you get into the main city, everything is within walking distance. Museums also are in one main area, so easy to take one bus and then walk around.
If you've been there (or ever go there), check out their farmer's market. They have one on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We went to the one on Saturday and I got my dad this really nice wool hat that he was having trouble finding here. Cost me 50 euros, but it was pure wool and handmade. He loves it, though he did wish the colour was a bit darker. 🤣 We also tried some of their local pastries at the market and muah!
Heck best was the department store. On the first night, we reached around 5 PM so we went into the city and got into this department store, 30 minutes before closing. It had everything. Clothes, perfumes, electronics, and food...SO MUCH FOOD! And good prices too. My sister and I ate got all our meals there (except one) and it would be like 10 euros between the two of us for like breakfast + one meal. And you got fresh bread, all types of cuisines, and so much chocolate!
Oh one thing that was definitely interesting was how everything closed between 5 and 7 PM. Like everything. Restaurants as well! They really care about family time. And they wouldn't open early. 9 or 10 AM easily. We would just walk around in the evenings. It was beautiful weather and you could see so much just by walking around.
Damn I love traveling. I can't wait to start traveling again next year.
