Which could have turned into interesting whodunit got spoiled with childish ending.
After Badla, Taapse is back with another murder mystery. Unfortunately, the ending of the movie is so childish , the complete thrill, suspense and amusement of the movie is wiped out with the climax.
Completely disappointed with the movie.
Despite having such good actors and interesting premise, the writer opted for such immature and far fetched climax. The movie begins with bang into the murder, then comes past stories full of humor, above average screenplay, then romance, infidelity, every thing was there to make perfect murder mystery. The story progressed in good pace till first half. Post second half, the screenplay starts to go downhill with implausible interrogation scenes, looks like Taapse (the one being interrogated) is interrogator and police act like just mesmerized spectator. Still viewers get glued to find out the truth. Why and How did she kill her husband.
As as sucker for whodunit I had already guessed the forthcoming twist but the way they depicted the twist and tried to justify made mockery of whole movie. Such far fetched and full of loopholes climax is the main culprit.
Bollywood seriously needs good and sensible writers.
When the story falters, then there is no use of praising performance of actors or cinematography, music, etc.
Biggest culprit is climax, its screenplay for which Kanika Dhillon must be banned to write any more stories.
1/5 Stars from me. Hugely Disappointed.
