Vidya Balan is trying (very hard) to break the mould in her new films Back to Section Stories

In Salaam E Ishq, I dress up completely differently from the way I do in real life. That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy dressing up traditionally. Now I'm getting to do an elaborate costume in Priyadarshan's Chandramukhi and I'm very excited about it." Vidya springs a surprise by saying she isn't donning a glamorous avatar in Salaam E Ishq. "I've no problems playing a working-class girl. In fact in Raj Kumar Santoshi's Halla Bol I'm again in a working class atmosphere and clothes." There's also a hard-hitting film with director Sourabh Narang of Vastu Shatra.

I agree with you 110% she is indeed a superstar in the making with great talent and looks to go along with it

and I consider her pairing with John simply amazing, he looks soo good with her rather than Bips..who too is pretty just compared to him is a bit masculine, vidya adds that feminine touch😛

She is heck of a great actress...she doesn't need clothes to prove herself...she luks beautiful either way...i luv her acting!! 👏

she is good actress , but ash completely overshadowed her in GURU wid her brilliant performance, and on top may be vidya wanted attention which went to ash's natural acting so she had to give an kiss scene with madhavan to draw attention

I just cant believe that she gave a kissing scene .She always had a clean image and said that she'll never expose and do scenes like that.Her role in guru was absolutely a waste and of no importance
