You're telling me star kids don't throw these tantrums or have these demands? According to general consensus, Kartik is getting too big for his boots. Does that mean he would've fit those boots if he was a star-kid?

Maybe producers are blacklisting him? Oh that's a conspiracy theory now? Because it blames Bollywood instead of Kartik?

If they had been interested in blacklisting him, they wouldn't have signed him in the first place. RCE had already paid him 2 crores as his signing amount.

Look, the amount of tantrums you can get away with all depends on how much clout you have. Salman can go onto a set with Prabhudeva and Remo and do whatever he wants. He can change the entire story if he feels like it because keeping him is the most important thing.

But the same Salman can't do that with Bhansali. For Inshallah, the sets were already put up and the film was dumped on the day it was due to begin shooting. Bhansali didn't like Salman's meddling and dropped him. The only difference is that Salman is too big for Bhansali to go on a PR offensive against him the way KJo can do with Kartik. Salman is also too big for it to affect his standing in the industry.

When Kartik shows attitude, it affects how the rest of the industry sees him because other producers now would also get wary. He simply doesn't have the power to get away with this type of behavior.

Comparing Salman with Kartik is not right. Salman is a Superstar. He has been in the industry for 30 years. Obviously he would hold much more power than someone like Kartik who is just trying to make his place in Bollywood.

A more valid comparison would be with Varun Dhawan.We know Kartik doesn't have enough power. That's why he's getting kicked out of films. But acting like he's the only arrogant person in Bollywood, or as if all outsiders are arrogant while star-kids are down-to-earth saints is ridiculous.

No businessman would take this decision unless Karthik was being very difficult, outsiders have complete support of public, maybe Karthik wants this support and he is trying to build it by making sure they drop him, its pretty clear that being against KJO and Bollywood is better than working in their movie

I thought all that was wrong . At least that was what nepotism and Bollywood defenders were saying.

That general public doesn't care about nepotism debate. Bollywood still have support of the audience. They are still watching their movies. That's why they are trending all over the world.

Now you're saying public is against Bollywood and Kjo? That means they are with the outsiders? That's not what fans of star kids believe.

Nobody gets blacklisted. Literally nobody. Even Kangana is still getting movies in spite of publicly harassing the whole industry and advocating for genocide.

Just a few days ago, Kartik's movie with Sajid Nadiadwala was announced. And that's after the fracas with KJo.

Nobody gets blacklisted but they do use those types of PR stories to paint themselves the victims of the movie mafia, underdogs fighting against the system, and poor fragile outsiders. And when they do get some more movies, then comes the "rising from the ashes like a phoenix" type of stuff. Their stans buy into it hook line and sinker too.
