The clothes in Satyam Shivam Sundaram were ridiculous. Especially those saree-shorts. So this woman covers her face with a pallu yet has every other body part dangling in the rain lol.

Anyway yes Zeenat Aman was much 'bolder'. She pulled all kinds of clothes off really well even back then when most people had a hostile attitude towards women who dressed unconventionally. And it's not just the clothes . Her personality was bold too. Today's actresses can't shine her shoes.

Neena Gupta went topless in Utsav. It was a mainstream film.

I didn't. Just that I don't know enough about her to say whether she was actually being bold or if it was just a cheap gimmick by Raj Kapoor. I mean..the scenes were sneaky..they did it under the guise of being under a waterfall in a sheer saree or nursing a baby. Zeenat Aman openly embraced her sexuality but in that movie Mandakini fiddled with nudity without actually getting into that territory. She could hide behind motherhood.

Technically yes. Bold enough .

Ancient boldness was massive but decent.
